Who we are
Greg Williamson is an architectural designer with deep roots on the Bruce Peninsula. Born and raised here, he comes from a family that has lived on the Peninsula for five generations. This long-standing connection strongly influences how he approaches residential design.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Greg has explored the Peninsula in every season - rock climbing on its escarpment, boating its shores, and hiking its forests. This firsthand experience gives him a deep understanding of the local landscape, climate, and geography — and how homes need to respond to them.
For more than 30 years, Greg has been designing homes across the Bruce Peninsula. With hands-on experience in house framing and long-standing relationships with local builders, he creates plans that are clear, concise, and practical — drawings that work in real-world building conditions.
Clients value Greg’s ability to listen carefully and translate their needs and lifestyle into functional, enduring homes. He has earned a reputation for being trustworthy, thoughtful, and committed to turning ideas into reality.
Today, Greg continues to lead the practice alongside his daughter, who is working with him and will carry the business forward. Together, they represent both the experience built over decades and the future of Greg Williamson Design — rooted in the Bruce Peninsula and shaped by generations of local knowledge.
